This picture was taken of Opa as he was acting out one of the last scenes in the movie were the old man jumps out of bed and runs to the town center because of a fight happening.
Day Four
The first stop today is Knock, a humble village that attracts pilgrims from all over the world since 15 locals experienced Marian apparitions in 1879. Then on to Cong, the setting for the classic 1951 movie "The Quiet Man" on the shores of Lough Corrib. Next we met with our tour guide in Cong Abbey were he then took us on a walking tour of the city showing us all the places were scenes of "The Quiet Man" took place.
